Plenty of homes photograph well and still feel like they belong to someone else. We design the opposite: spaces built around the life being lived in them, so a home supports how you rest, gather, work, and recover, and feels unmistakably yours. FULL SERVICE DESIGN
Our Full-Service Design is for clients building, renovating, or fully furnishing a home. Our designers lead the vision at every stage, from concept and space planning through selections, installation, and final styling. On new builds and renovations, we direct the design and coordinate closely with your contractor and trades so the design intent holds through construction, then oversee the install ourselves. You end with a cohesive home shaped around the way you actually live, with one team owning the aesthetic from start to finish.
VIRTUAL DESIGN
Our Virtual Design service delivers professional interior design remotely, for clients outside our local area. The design work runs the same way it always does: layout, color, furnishings, and finishes, developed by our designers and coordinated to a set timeline with the contractors and vendors the project requires. The difference is location, not rigor. We guide the process to completion from wherever you are, rather than the plan being handed off for you to execute alone.
CONSULTATION
Our Design Consultation service provides a focused, one-on-one session with Melissa Fischer Interiors to address your specific design questions. Whether you’re seeking guidance on layout, color palettes, finishes, furnishings, or styling, we offer expert insight to help move your project forward. Ideal for clients who need professional direction before committing to a larger project, this session helps you gain clarity, make confident decisions, and create a strong foundation for your space.
Our Design Journey
Every project begins with listening. We take the time to understand how our clients live, what inspires them, and how they want their home to feel. From there, we guide the design from concept through installation, carefully shaping each detail along the way so the final space feels effortless and cohesive.
How we work

We begin with an in-depth assessment to understand your needs and create a clear Scope of Work. From there, we develop initial floor plans and architectural drawings, which are refined through collaboration. This phase sets the creative vision for your project.

Once the concept is approved, we dive into detailed selections—finishes, fixtures, lighting, furnishings, and more. We also produce technical drawings, elevations, and renderings to bring the vision to life, refining them with your feedback to ensure everything aligns perfectly.

We manage the full purchasing process, including ordering, tracking, and coordinating with vendors. Items are stored at our preferred warehouse until everything is ready for installation, ensuring a smooth and organized execution.

This is where it all comes together. We oversee the full install of furnishings, accessories, and design elements to bring your space to life. Whenever possible, we love to create a final “reveal” moment for a truly memorable experience.

To wrap the project, we conduct a detailed walk-through with you and your contractor (if available) to review any final touch-ups. We ensure every detail is polished and the space meets the highest standard before calling it complete.
