How we work

At Melissa Fischer Interiors, we follow a thoughtful and phased design process to ensure every project is beautifully executed from start to finish:

01 — Conceptual Design
We begin with an in-depth assessment to understand your needs and create a clear Scope of Work. From there, we develop initial floor plans and architectural drawings, which are refined through collaboration. This phase sets the creative vision for your project.

02 — Detailed Design
Once the concept is approved, we dive into detailed selections—finishes, fixtures, lighting, furnishings, and more. We also produce technical drawings, elevations, and renderings to bring the vision to life, refining them with your feedback to ensure everything aligns perfectly.

03 — Procurement
We manage the full purchasing process, including ordering, tracking, and coordinating with vendors. Items are stored at our preferred warehouse until everything is ready for installation, ensuring a smooth and organized execution.

04 — Installation
This is where it all comes together. We oversee the full install of furnishings, accessories, and design elements to bring your space to life. Whenever possible, we love to create a final “reveal” moment for a truly memorable experience.

05 — Final Walk-Through
To wrap the project, we conduct a detailed walk-through with you and your contractor (if available) to review any final touch-ups. We ensure every detail is polished and the space meets the highest standard before calling it complete.
